Tendon Kohaku has came out with another NEW Tendon dish! This season, they will be offering their first-ever winter collection seafood tendon: OCEAN GEMS TENDON (Cost: $23.00++)! It consists of fresh catch such as prawns, snow crab, king crab meat, scallop, oyster, squid and topped with ikura.
As usual, you get to choose from Nanatsuboshi Hokkaido rice or 16 multi grains rice, but there will not be a spicy version for this. The tempura batter is enlivened by aonori(dried seaweed – hence the unique green colour) adds a subtle savoury and earthy note to the tendon. Fried in a blend of high-grade sesame oil and cooking oil, each piece of tempura has a nice crispy exterior and delicious soft meat! Kohaku utilises a special cooking technology that ensures the oil is kept clean and fresh even after repeated frying.
This dish is already available at the Suntec City Eat At Seven outlet, and will be available at the Boat Quay outlet from mid of January 2018. Be sure to go early and queue, since only 50 bowls are available per day at each outlet!
