[NEW MENU!] Chef Wan’s Kitchen has launched 2 NEW Nasi Lemak dishes; imagine LOBSTER Nasi Lemak!

In this festive season, Chef Wan’s Kitchen has released 2 NEW Nasi Lemak dishes; the Lobster Nasi Lemak and the Lamb Shank Nasi Lemak, as well as a number of delicious NEW mainstays!

From now until 2 January 2018, Both Nasi Lemak dishes will be on a festive promotional price of $23.90+ each!

  • BALADO LOBSTER NASI LEMAK
    Cost: $35.00+, now only $23.90+(festive promotional price)

Chef Wan decided to use Lobster for this dish to entice seafood lovers. It comes with half a lobster and some prawns coated with Balado sauce; a type of spice mixture found in many west Sumatran dishes. This spicy sauce is made by stir-frying chilli pepper, garlic, shallot, tomato and key lime juice in fragrant oil. The dish also comes with some kangkong, fried egg, crackers and their signature sambal.

  • LAMB SHANK NASI LEMAK
    Cost: $35.00+, now only $23.90+ (festive promotional price)

The other dish comes with braised Lamb Shank. Each of these lamb is marinated with a savoury and moreish gravy that is made with a blend of aromatic spices like chilli, kaffir lime leaves, candle nut, turmeric leafs and many more. Slow braised until tender, these lamb shanks boasts a melt-in-your-mouth texture.

Also together with the Nasi Lemak release is some NEW menu mainstays such as Asam Pedas Fish Head, Curry Fish Head, Kacang Botol, Lala Kunyit, Tauhu Telor and many more! We got to try the enticing TAUHU TELUR (Cost: $14.90+), an Indonesian dish that combines fried beancurd with eggs made into a cylindrical shape, with veggies on top. Don’t forget to add the sweet peanut sauce on it!

Directions: Alight at Esplanade MRT Station (Circle Line CC3).  Go through the underpass and enter Esplanade through the Esplanade tunnel (which showcases visual art installations). Get up to Level 1 of Esplanade, and walk through the Esplanade concourse and towards the escalator before exiting into the Esplanade courtyard. Take this escalator up to level 2, and right in front is Chef’s Wan Kitchen.
