It’s been a year since the opening of Nadai Fujisoba Ni-Hachi, a restaurant specialising only in soba dishes located at Itadakimasu by PARCO at the 3rd level of 100AM mall. This coming Christmas season, Nadai Fujisoba introduces a sumptuous 6-course party hotpot set($65.00++/person) that consists of the NEW Mount Fuji Icy Hotpot with many other dishes, all of them bound to satisfy your cravings!

The 6-COURSE PARTY HOTPOT SET (Cost: $65.00++/person, festive cost: $49.80++/person)
The main attraction to this 6-course set is the MOUNT FUJI ICY HOTPOT with a hotpot only price: $28.00++/person (min 2 pax). This interesting dish consists of fresh premium seafood ingredients under a heap of ice. The ice is actually made of rich chicken and seafood collagen stock that is carefully boiled for hours before freezing it into a block of ice for the next day. When ordered, the ice block is then shaven down to ice that looks like snow! The ice also ensures seafood ingredients beneath it to remain fresh when serving. It takes about 15mins for the ice to melt, so watch as it transforms from an icy mountain into a colourful seafood hotpot! Various seafood ingredients include the Argentinian Aka Ebi(red shrimps), Norwegian Salmon, Murugai(mussels) from New Zealand, Snow Crab from Greenland, and many more.
Upon finishing the ingredients, a serving of their high quality buckwheat flour soba will be added to the remaining soup.
As the ice hotpot begins to melt, you will be served with a starter set which is a cold dish consisting of Soba Sashimi, Shredded Japanese Yam, Salmon, Japanese Fish Cake, Namul(Bean Sprout Salad), Duck Cha Shu and Edamame.
Next is the all time favourite, the TRUFFLE DASHIMAKITAMAGO with club Japanese sauce! This will be served chopped into smaller blocks instead of an entire block. Taste wise it is still as awesome as before! Definitely a recommended dish to try at Nadai Fujisoba!
Then there is the MASH BUCKWHEAT TEMPURA that has a soft interior(like mash potatoes) encased within a crispy batter. Make sure to dip it in the matcha sea salt that is provided at the side.
In contrast to all the strong flavours, there is a bowl of NI-HACHI SOBA SALAD as part of the course meal. It consists of fried soba in a bed of veggies drizzled with yuzu dressing.
Other side dishes includes the JAKO TO SHISHITO ITAME; Japanese pepper with Anchovies, and the YAKITORI SALT & TERIYAKI; Teriyaki chicken with Japanese Pepper.
Finally, end the meal with some MATCHA WARABI MOCHI WITH CARAMEL SAUCE. Warabi mochi are very soft and jelly like, and are made of a certain type of plant called bracken. If you are familiar to the warabi mochi from Misato, you will find that the ones given here are not as soft as Misato’s mochi. It has a more chewy texture and a sweeter flavour with the added caramel sauce.

Directions: Alight at Tanjong Pagar MRT Station (green line EW15) and exit at Exit A. Cross the road and walk pass Oasis hotel (the tall red building) and Carlton City. Turn left and walk along the road until you reach the mall 100am, which is beside Amara hotel. Enter the mall, and turn left to take the escalators up to level 3. To your right you will see Itadakimasu by PARCO, and Nadai Fujisoba NI HACHI is right beside Kisuke Tori King.
