[NEW MENU!] Tendon Kohaku @ Eat At Seven Suntec City

The most renowned restaurant at Eat At Seven is none other than Tendon Kohaku, which has a perpetual queue no matter the time of day. Queuing time can reach 45mins or 1hour. We went to try it out, and yes, the food is great; the sauce is amazing, portion is large and price is just affordable!

Now, they have released a new seasonal tendon the YUZU SALMON AND MUSHROOMS TENDON (Cost: $17.50++) which is greatly inspired by Autumn in Japan. This bowl of tendon contains no chicken, but has SIX different types of mushrooms! Some of the mushroom is imported from Japan such as the famous Japan number 1 Maitake mushroom and the shimeji mushroom, among others likethe shiitake, enoki, erinji and oyster mushroom. Together with the bowl is a large piece of Atlantic salmon marinated with a traditional Japanese Yuan sauce, a sauce that has hints of yuzu and soy sauce in it!

As usual, you get to choose either Nanatsuboshi Hokkaido rice or 16 multi grains rice, and for the bowl to be spicy or non-spicy. If you want the original great taste of the tendon then choose the non-spicy, as the original taste gets overwhelmed for the spicy version. We recommend you to choose the 16 multi grain rice (no added charges) as it is healthy and all the 16 types of rice is sourced from all over Japan!

This item will be available until December during lunch time 11.30AM – 4.00PM and early dinner service at 5.00PM.

The famous Kohaku Tendon comes to your table containing TEN PIECES of crispy assorted tempura like chicken, prawns, squids, fish, mushrooms, veggies and many more, atop your choice of Japanese rice or the 16 multi grain rice. What shines in this dish is actually the drizzle of specially made very tasty sauce! If not enough, there is a bottle of it at every table for you to add more!

Also, just one bowl of Kohaku Tendon will definitely make you very filling. But for those who can eat a ton or is extremely hungry can get the tendon set that comes with a bowl of well made udon noodles for $19.50++.
