[NEW!] Chef Wan’s Kitchen @ Esplanade Mall

Chef Wan, the beloved TV personality with 35 years of culinary experience has opened his first ever A La Carte Concept restaurant, Chef’s Wan Kitchen at the Esplanade Mall! This new restaurant will serve authentic heritage asian and international dishes including exotic flavours of Peranakan, moroccan, Javanese and Spanish cuisines!

Currently the restaurant is in post-MUIS audit, pending Halal certification.

  • BIBIK NEO’S LAKSA
    Cost: $15.90+

Chef Wan’s favourite childhood dish cooked by his grandmother, this signature laksa is served at laksa parties for international celebrities. Now you get to taste this signature laksa dish, which consists of gravy that is made from a unique blend of spices, grinded fresh prawns instead of dried shrimps and creamy coconut milk!

  • CIK AINI’S MEE REBUS WITH PRAWN FRITTERS
    Cost: $15.90+

Another of his favourite, this mee rebus was served to the royal family of Brunei before, and has garnered much praise from them. Don’t miss this unique mee rebus with thick and flavourful gravy that comes with crunchy prawn fritters!

  • AYAM GORENG JAVA CHEF WAN
    Cost: $18.90+

This is Chef Wan’s delicious Javanese fried chicken, juicy drumsticks well marinated overnight and then fried to a crispy skin! Comes with a special, slightly sweet dipping sauce concocted by Chef Wan himself.

  • CHURROS CHEESE TART
    Cost: $5.90+

As for desserts, do not miss this crunchy churros cheese tart with rich and savoury cream cheese filling! Make sure to leave some space for this amazing dessert!

Directions: Alight at Esplanade MRT Station (Circle Line CC3).  Go through the underpass and enter Esplanade through the Esplanade tunnel (which showcases visual art installations). Get up to Level 1 of Esplanade, and walk through the Esplanade concourse and towards the escalator before exiting into the Esplanade courtyard. Take this escalator up to level 2, and right in front is Chef’s Wan Kitchen.
