KKday and Tokyo Disneysea

Who doesn’t love to travel?! All of us certainly do, and we know that planning the itinerary is tedious and sometimes troublesome. This time with KKday, we will have the ability to save time on researching as well as save MONEY! Travelling is so much easier now with KKday!

A) KKday

KKday (link to the webpage here) is an online platform allowing users to connect with local tours from all over the world. Through the secure website, you can discover thousands of experiences from day tours to train passes to attraction tickets and many more, while some of these are on a DISCOUNTED price!

All you have to do is to sign up for an account first, and then select the country and city through the button “browse by destination or attraction” at the main page of the website to view all of the available experiences you can purchase.

For example our recent trip to Japan, we bought tickets for Tokyo DisneySea Day Pass through this link, it is a very easy 3-step process where you log in, pay and then you are all set!

THINGS TO TAKE NOTE: For every experience, MAKE SURE TO READ the ‘Important info’, ‘Additional info’ and ‘How to redeem your voucher’ sections on the page.

For Tokyo DisneyLand/DisneySea Day pass, it is required to PRINT OUT, show your voucher and scan your QR code at the gates to access the park. An e-mail containing the voucher should be sent to you from KKday. Mobile vouchers cannot be used for the Tokyo DisneyLand or DisneySea Day pass entry.

B) DisneySea

For our trip to DisneySea, we printed out our tickets before we flew to Japan. Scan the tickets on the automatic ticket gates where gate attendants will assist you. When you see the green light, you will be able to enter.

1) Trip Highlight: TOY STORY MANIA!

This is one of the more popular attractions in Tokyo DisneySea, and one of the longest wait time. If you wish to visit this attraction, be sure to go super early or you can try visiting it on weekdays.

Toy Story Mania! is a 4d theme park shooter ride. Visitors are provided with 3D glasses, ride on spinning vehicles and travel through Toy Story themed virtual environments that are based on classic carnival games. There are a total of 5 mini-games plus 1 practice round, and the total ride duration is approximately 5mins. Players are to shoot and score as much points as possible; your points will be displayed onboard the vehicle. Kids can also sit on adult laps as long as their legs are under the safety bar.

2) FOOD:

There are lots of food to try in DisneySea, one of which you must try is this delicious TURKEY LEG! Incredibly juicy, tender and falls off the bone easily, it’s so good until you might want to order 2! These can be found at the Lost River Cookhouse only.

Both DisneySea and DisneyLand span a very large area divided into many themed sections, each of them with lots of things to do. KKday also offer a 2 day pass if you can’t decide to go Disneysea or Disneyland. (link to Disneyland and/or Disneysea 2 day pass here)
