The Ministry Of Food has opened a new Japanese restaurant in the newly opened Food Hall basement at The Centrepoint, specialising in Tendon. This classic Japanese dish is a combination of Tempura (batter-fried seafood and vegetables) and Donburi (steamed rice bowl) with a nice touch of tempura sauce. At Tensho, they use fresh ingredients to create wholesome and quality Tendon topped with their special homemade sauce. There only 2 dishes are in the menu, the Mixed Tendon and Vegetable Tendon. They choose to focus on these two tendons.
Menu and Pricing:
- MIXED TENDON
Served with chawanmushi and miso soup, this dish is packed with tempuras, an onsen egg and Japanese rice. Every piece of crispy tempura is well battered making it tasty 👍, from the soft dory fish to the sweet piece of pumpkin(clockwise). Drizzled with the savoury sweet Tensho sauce and an onsen egg, this tendon has a mix of flavours which makes it not monotonous😄.
You can still choose to add more Tensho sauce and pickled vegetables to your dish. These condiments can be found on the table.
