THE MENU AND PRICING
- TOKYO BORSCH
A Japanese take on the European Tart soup, this version contains beef and potato chunks mixed with onion and carrots in a deep brown stock soup. With a slice of lemon and a small scoop of yoghurt, the thick beefy soup lightens up to a level that is delicious with a bit of sourness.
- ATLANTIC LOBSTER BISQUE
From Tokyo to the Atlantic, this Atlantic Lobster Bisque brings forth the flavour of the seas in this delightful cup of soup. The taste starts with a creamy and buttery feel, and then a profound lobster flavour radiates from behind the mouth and stays there for a while. Somewhere between the flavours of shrimp and crab, this lobster flavour is smooth and delicious.
Double soup set cost: $12.80 (Tokyo Borsch & Atlantic Lobster Bisque) (comes with a choice of bread or rice)
- HOKKAIDO PUMPKIN CLAM CHOWDER
This rich and creamy Clam Chowder soup contains onions and some pumpkin with a sprinkle of herbs on top of it. Instead of just the usual creamy taste of clam chowders, this hokkaido rendition has a cheesy flavour added to it.
- ITALIAN TOMATO MINSTRONE
Packed with a plethora of vegetables, this soup is suitable for those who are on a vegetarian diet. With loads of fresh sweet tomatoes, onions, carrots, celeries, zucchini, eggplant, bell pepper, potato, garlic and some watercress on top, this soup is full of vegetable taste, sweet and sourish with a bit of peppery bitterness from the watercress.
Double soup set cost: $12.80 (Hokkaido Pumpkin Clam Chowder & Italian Tomato Minstrone) (comes with a choice of bread or rice)
Overall, the soup is pretty special with many different kinds of cultural flavours. The staffs are very friendly and helpful, and are always smiling. The service is fast, you just have to sit down for 5mins and your soup will arrive hot. The bread is soft and fluffy, and warm on the inside.
