Tempura Tsukiji Tenka @ Japan Food Town

This Japanese restaurant is the first of 16 restaurants opened recently in the new Japan Food Town, which is situated at 4th level of Wisma Atria. Specialising in tempura and donburi, this new restaurant currently only has part of the menu released to the public. Do take note that all of the restaurants in Japan Food Town will be opened on the 16th of July.

THE DONS:

  • SEA EEL TENDON

Tendon is a combination of Tempura with Donburi. The fried tempura eel is crispy on the outside, and tasty on the inside with an aromatic freshness of the eel. Tempura vegetables are delicious with a combination of sweet and savoury taste. Using authentic Japanese rice grains, the rice is sticky, sweet and has a high concentration of vinegar in it.

  • KAISENDON

Also known as sashimi rice bowl, this bowl is filled with different kinds of sashimi including salmon, tuna, sea bream, swordfish and amaebi with salon roe and tamago. These sashimi boast in its freshness, and it feels quite chewy. The rice is similar to the tendons. The smaller black bowl contains chocolate muse dessert, which is while stocks last!
