This Keisuke outlet is filled with decorations depicting the four seasons in Japan. Even in their ramen, the ingredients are chosen to reflect the four seasons. Broths in this outlet is a lot thicker as it is cooked for a longer period of time. They also provide free flow boiled eggs and bean sprouts in sesame oil.
Placing order is really easy and convenient, you simply have to fill up a nicely outlined order sheet and pass it to the waiter and the wait was rather short too.
- TONKOTSU RAMEN SUMMER
Mixed with a scoop of chilli spice, this pork ramen has just the right amount of spiciness for its portion. The flavour of the broth still retains its milky and savoury strength even with the spice mix in it. The slices of pork are succulent and tender, and the noodles are the straight and thin types which are not too hard. If you love spiciness, this bowl of ramen is totally a must.
- TONKOTSU RAMEN AUTUMN
More mushrooms are added to this bowl, with a scoop of minced pork mixed with the flavour of bonitos. The slices of pork char siew looks quite similar to the ones in Summer, but has a slightly different flavour and is a bit softer on some parts of the meat. The broth is, as well, milky and savoury, and are less golden in colour than the other broths.
- TONKOTSU RAMEN KING
This signature bowl of ramen thus far is the best among the three. Instead of the slices of pork char siew, the bowl of ramen is filled with stir fried pork and the garnish of gingers. The broth is much stronger, thicker and has a more golden brown colour to it than the other two. The flavoured egg has a runny yolk and marinated flavour that tastes excellent with everything in the bowl.
Cost: $13.90 + $2.00 (flavoured egg add-on)
Overall, the food here is great and the restaurant feels lively and cozy as well. They have a convenient and fast way of ordering which is awesome. By the time we leave the place, we notice a long queue started at the front of the restaurant. This shows how good the ramen must be. It is recommended to visit this outlet of Keisuke and try out all the special four season ramen.
